The Trainer Should:
- Develop a schedule that considers the time allocated for a specific training lesson and the sequence in the training plan when it should be taught.
- Use a task breakdown to identify how a task should be done.
- Have all necessary equipment, tools, and materials ready for the training session.
- Select and properly arrange the appropriate training location.
- Know precisely how to begin the training process.
- Identify the tasks that the trainee must learn.
- Put the trainee at ease.
- Find out what the trainee already knows about the task.
- Explain what the trainee should expect to learn in the session.
- Set a good example for the trainee.
- Explain what’s in it for the trainee.
