Where do chefs eat?

On duty or Off duty?
On duty – in the hotel, chefs can have food from any kitchen as part of food tasting.

Chefs must check food quality served in all food & beverage outlets + banquet kitchen + staff cafeteria. He should order food from all F&B outlets on a random basis to check the standard of food - for quality, taste & presentation.
They usually eat-in the chef’s cabin. Sometimes in restaurants, if it’s off-peak hours.

I believe chefs eat at their favorite restaurants during off days. Also heard some chefs like to explore street food and exotic food.
