What should we do if check-in with a pet?
However, pets are not allowed, but receptionist didn’t notify that during reservation, so guest came with pet. How solve this problem? Should we offer hotel for pets? Or what???
Allowing pets depends upon the hotel’s policy. If you are allowing pets then the same need to be displayed or notified to all guests while booking itself.
Normally under your ‘Pet Policy’ is mentioned in your booking confirmation letter, registration card, website, OTA etc. And the same need to be also displayed in the hotel lobby area.
If you think your other guests will have inconvenience due to one single guest with the pet then it would be a wise decision to make an alternative arrangements or hotel which is pet friendly.
