Method

  • Marinate the steaks in salt and pan fry them
  • Boil potatoes in milk and garlic and cook until soft
  • Pass through a chinois and cook with butter and cream to make garlic mashed potaoes
  • Flavour the potatoes with nutmeg
  • Grill the vegetables and serve the rib eye steak with garlic mash, vegetables and pepper sauce
