What is more effective to do to market? Get commission based sales person and paid them 10% commission or engage a contract with OTA’s for a 17-20 % commission ?Thanks
@Jet28 I think you will need a mix of both. Is it a pre-opening hotel or already running property?
You should definitely list your property in OTA’s as they have more coverage like traverllers from around the globe can book your hotel.
On the other hand your local booking agent can generate Corporate or Package guests depending upon your property type, location etc.

It depends upon your hotel and your clientele. If its a normal hotel or apartment catering to leisure and business guests then you will to do both OTA’s, GDS, Travel Agents, In house sales team and also commission based booking agents.
