Ingredients for 1 Kg
- Sift together the sifted flour, salt, baking powder, and mix with half the sugar
- Whip the sifted flour with the oil, egg yolks, water, vanilla, until batter is smooth.
- Whip the egg whites with remaining sugar and form into a meringue
- Carefully fold the whipped meringue into the cake batter and pour into greased mould and bake at 180 Deg C for 30 - 35 minutes
