Ingredients for 1 Kg

0.500 KG Flour
0.010 KG salt
0.015 KG Baking powder
0.230 KG Sugar
0.100 KG Oil
0.250 KG Eggs
0.120 KG Cold water
0.005 KG vanilla scrapings

Method

  • Sift together the sifted flour, salt, baking powder, and mix with half the sugar
  • Whip the sifted flour with the oil, egg yolks, water, vanilla, until batter is smooth.
  • Whip the egg whites with remaining sugar and form into a meringue
  • Carefully fold the whipped meringue into the cake batter and pour into greased mould and bake at 180 Deg C for 30 - 35 minutes
