Apple Sauce

Ingredients for 715 gm

Qty Unit Description
0.5 KG Cored, peeled and chopped apples
0.125 LITRE Water
0.03 KG Grain Sugar
0.06 KG Cold butter cubes

Method:

  • Take the apples in a pan with water and cook till the apples are soft.
  • Strain this mixture through a wire mesh.
  • Continue to cook this mixture till it becomes thick.
  • Stir in the grain sugar.
  • Add the cold butter cubes and mix till the sauce has a smooth consistency and appearance.
